Your Brain Loves Cocoa

We know you love it when there is new research on chocolate.  Here is one that we think is very important.

Numerous lines of research our being done on the brain and one of them involves a protective protein called BDNF.  We have previously written about it here.

A new study looked at the effects of polyphenols found in cocoa on brain cells.  What they found is when in the presence of cocoa, the BDNF pathway was activated and brain cells had reduced levels of degeneration.
