Myostatin and Building Muscle

Myostatin is a protein in the body that inhibits muscle growth. Animals and humans that have a defect in their myostatin have muscles that are considerable larger and stronger than     normal.

The elderly, who typically experience a loss of muscle mass, may be helped by inhibiting  myostatin.

Follistatin is a protein that blocks the activity of myostatin and causes more muscle growth.  A new formula called Myo-X by the  company MHP has been shown to increase levels of follistatin and as well as muscle growth. MHP’s internal studies reveal that Myo-X is able to reduce myostatin levels by 46% in 100% of human test subject in only 12-18 hours with a single serving.
