Rhodiola For Endurance

It can be frustrating to make the effort to go to the gym only to find yourself fatigued so soon after starting your workout.  Many people have this experience and try to take various workout supplements or shots to give them a boost.

New research on a herb called rhodiola rosea shows it could help with endurance.  In this study, subjects were given either rhodiola or placebo before a 6 mile run.

They found that those who took the herb had a lower heart rate, completed the run faster and had a lower perception of effort.
