Get Your Fiber Every Day

Getting more fiber in our diets is so important for a variety of reasons.  Most people decide to proactively add fiber when they become irregular or their doctor recommends for high cholesterol.

A new long term study shows us another benefit of fiber.  Nearly half a million people who participated in a National Health Institute diet and health study over nine years reported their dietary intake.

The results showed that those whose diet had the most fiber had a 15 to 20% reduced risk of renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer).  If you have a hard time getting fiber in your diet, one alternative we suggest is Jarrow Formulas Gentle Fibers.  You can add it water or a smoothie and supplement your diet easily.
