Stress, Your Heart & Fish Oil

Fish oil has been shown to support heart health in many studies.  This has been mostly attributed to it’s role in controlling inflammation.

A new study looked at the relationship between stress and cardiovascular health and what role fish oil might play.  Sixty seven people were given a 5 minutes stress protocol before and after an eight week supplementation of fish oil or placebo.

They found that those receiving the fish oil had a lower heart rate in response to the stress protocol.
