Higher Vitamin D, Smarter Babies

Mothers with sufficient levels of vitamin D had babies with more deleloped brains, when compared to babies of low vitamin D moms.  Twenty percent of the mothers in the study were deficient in vitamin D and another 32% were insufficient.

The high vitamin D babies had better metal and psychomotor function.  Notable, the higher the mother’s vitamin rose, the smarter their babies tended to be.
