Can something as simple as vitamin C improve your mood? Vitamin C has been recommended for many ailments, but new research shows that it may also improve our mood.
Patients admitted at hospitals had been found to be low in vitamin C. Researchers believed that these low levels may also be linked to the patients mood.
They supplemented these patients with 500mg of vitamin C twice daily for about 8 days. In the end they found that vitamin C levels increased significantly and mood disturbance was reduced by 71%.
