Our basic comprehensive lab panel includes the following:
- CBC w/ differential: A complete blood count looks at blood cell size and quantity. This can be helpful in diagnosing anemia, infections, inflammation, blood disorders, allergies, and cancer.
- Comprehensive Metabolic: Includes 14 tests that give information about the current status of a person’s metabolism, including the health of the kidneys and liver, electrolyte balance, and blood glucose.
- Hemoglobin A1C: HbA1c is used to monitor long-term glucose control.
- Homocysteine: High levels of homocysteine can accumulate due to genetics or vitamin deficiencies. This creates an increased risk of several health problems, including heart disease, stroke, an Alzheimer’s.
- Hs-CRP: A blood test that measures a protein called C-reactive protein (CRP). CRP is an inflammatory marker that is produced by the liver in response to inflammation. High levels are associated with increased risk of heart disease or stroke, as well as autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancer.
- Lipid Panel: A key indicator for cardiovascular disease risk, includes HDL, LDL, TC/HDL Ratio, total cholesterol, and triglycerides
- Thyroid Panel: Gives a basic look at overall thyroid function and includes TSH, fT3, and fT4.
- Uric Acid: This can help diagnose gout, renal failure, and a variety of other conditions.
- Vitamin D 25-OH: An effective measure of vitamin D status. Vitamin D is critical for immune, mood, and bone health.
