Everyone wants to get the most out of their workouts and increase strength.  Lots of products are out there that claim they can do this for you.

Here is some actual research on a well known supplement that shows it can support increases in strength.  A new study with 100 German athletes studied the effects of a form of CoQ10 called ubiquinol on strength.

Standard CoQ10 supplements contain the form ubiquinone, but research shows that ubiquinol absorbs better.  The athletes were given 300mg a day or placebo for 6 weeks.

They tested their strength before and after the study using a cycling ergometer.  Those getting the ubiquinol had significantly more increase in strength than placebo.
